Deputy Ssabakristu and In-charge of Ecumenism / Omubeezi wa Ssabakristu era Ow’Entabagana

i. He/she should have an open heart and respect for other denominations and their followers. 

ii. He/she represents the church at various celebrations jointly organized by Catholic and other Christian denominations. 

iii. He/she is responsible for helping lukewarm Catholics change their attitude of believing that " Catholicism and other denominations are now merged into one religion", so that they may understand the existing difference. He/she is also responsible for exhorting them not to hold onto past practices when there are new ones which have been agreed upon and adopted 

iv. He/she is responsible for organizing joint services where Catholics and non-Catholics can come together for a joint prayer meeting. 

v. He/she shall endeavour to be knowledgeable enough in Church history so as to be able to explain or to comment understandingly on it. 

vi. He/she shall be responsible for carrying out duties assigned to him/her by the Ssabakristu.
