i. They shall endeavour to assist fellow youth to have vision for their future with projected developmental projects. 

ii. They shall encourage the youth to cultivate a spirit of working together in groups so as to appreciate the usefulness of cooperatives. 

iii. They shall sensitize and teach the youth about the art of leadership and instil into them a spirit of serving others and the Church. 

iv. They shall assist the youth to identify their talents and teach them how to utilize them profitably themselves and for others. 

v. They shall organize courses and retreats to motivate the youth. 

vi. They shall initiate some programmes to engage the youth in Bible study sessions, which would enhance and deepen their faith and, as a result, they would be motivated and encouraged to practice their religion by celebrating Sundays, longing for sacraments such as Holy Matrimony etc. 

vii. They shall endeavour to teach them good behaviour and interest them in joining associations and/or movements for the youth, e.g. YCW, Scouts, Girl guides, YCS, Xaverian etc.
